Pamela Bestemen














                   Pamela Bestemen is the head varsity men's coach at Norcal Crew. Pamela has been a coach at Norcal for two years now but has been rowing her entire life. As a woman growing up in West Michigan, Pam faced the consequences of her conservative community and decided to leave to find more opportunity. After coming to California in 2012, Pam was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been battling against it ever since. Pam enjoys every part of coaching and has built an amazing relationship with her athletes.
